Eastman Orchestra Model W/Cedar Top & Padded Gig Bag - E2OM
These new Eastmans are among my personal favorites of all the guitars in my shop at any price. It's all about the cedar. Eastman made a really smart decision on their E2 series to discontinue the sapelle tops and replace them with cedar. These guitars sound like they have been played hard for years and project like crazy. The cedar imparts a warmth that is very hard to find in other instruments unless they are very old and well broken in. There is still plenty of definition and a touch of sparkle on the high end. I think the result is magic! I don't know how Eastman can offer an instrument with these qualities, their usual attention to detail, and their high build quality at this kind of price point. - Tom Eaton
