This is a brand new guitar made in 2015. They have since discontinued this model, but upgraded it to using two pickups. Why, I don't know. My personal opinion is that one pickup is all that is needed for an archtop, and I would rather have less on the top that can dampen the sound. I only have one left of this model, which I think is the best guitar out there for a jazz player on a budget.
